For reservations of tent sites, shelter rentals, or one or both of the two overnight RV sites, please call (802) 635-7725. The municipally-owned Lake Eden Recreation Area provides residents and visitors with a scenic area for camping, swimming, and boating.
A lottery is held each fall for those owners of RVs who wish to spend the summer here. Each campsite is provided with electricity, water, and sewer, and there are two overnight sites, as well as a few tent sites along the water’s edge.
RV Sites #1-8 are located on the lower level; Sites #9-17 are located on the upper level. Site #18 is reserved for the Beach Manager.
Kids can play on the playground; families can rent one of the two pavilions, each equipped with large grills, for picnics, birthday parties, or family gatherings. Picnic tables, trash bins, and BBQ grills are also placed along the beach area for the convenience of the swimmers.
Swim lessons, with instruction from Red Cross qualified instructors, are provided for all ages and abilities.
There is a beach house with snacks available.
