Positions that will be open for election during Town Meeting on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026. If you would like to be nominated for one of these positions please come to town meeting.

Auditor (1-year position)- This is to finish a 3-year term as somebody has resigned.

Cemetery Commissioner (5-year position)

Agent to convey Real Estate (1-year position)

LNMUUSD Board Member (3-year position)

Positions that are open for being appointed this year by the selectboard after Town Meeting. If you are interested in any of the following please email (clerk@edenvt.org) or mail a letter of interest before Town Meeting. All of these appointed positions are 1-year terms unless otherwise noted.

Fence Viewers- total of 3 people appointed

Town Service officer- 1 person appointed

Dog officer- 1 person appointed

Emergency Management Director- 1 person appointed

Wood & Timber Inspecter- 1 person appointed

Tree Warden- 1 person appointed

Eden Youth Sports Committee- total of 5 people appointed

Eden Planning Commission- total of 5 people appointed

Lamoille FiberNet- 1 person appointed

LRSWMD Supervisor- 1 person appointed- Current term will be up in 2027 (2-year position)

 

The Eden Town Meeting was be held at the Eden Central School on March 4, 2025, starting at 9:00 am.  All votes were held from the floor.

The School Voting took place by Australian Ballot from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm.

The Annual Town Report for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 has been mailed.  The Town Report is mailed to all registered voters in the town.  If you would like a copy and did not receive one by post, there are extra copies at the Town Clerk’s Office.
