Lake Eden Recreation Area is Now Open: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are limiting the capacity in the shelters to 15 and the playground will remain closed until further notice. Please help us help each other by adhering to these restrictions.
The American Red Cross, Teach America To Swim & the Town of Eden have once again partnered up to offer FREE swim lessons to all Eden residents! This year, we will have two weeks of lessons:
August 3rd-7th and August 10th-14th

For reservations of tent sites, shelter rentals, or an overnight RV site, please call (802) 635-7725. The municipally-owned Lake Eden Recreation Area provides residents and visitors with a scenic area for camping, swimming, and boating.
A lottery is held each fall for those owners of RVs who wish to spend the summer here. Each campsite is provided with electricity, water, and sewer, and there are RV overnight sites, as well as a few tent sites along the water’s edge.
RV Sites #1-8 are located on the lower level; Sites #9-17 are located on the upper level. Site #18 is reserved for the Beach Manager.
Kids can play on the playground; families can rent one of the two pavilions, each equipped with large grills, for picnics, birthday parties, or family gatherings. Picnic tables, trash bins, and BBQ grills are also placed along the beach area for the convenience of the swimmers.
Swim lessons, with instruction from Red Cross qualified instructors, are provided for all ages and abilities.
There is a beach house with snacks available.
