Vermont Spay Neuter Incentive Program (VSNIP)

vsnip

Vermont Spay Neuter Incentive Program (VSNIP) reduces pet overpopulation by helping eligible Vermonters afford to have their dogs and cats spayed or neutered.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Live in Vermont.
  • Have acquired your pet for free or just a small fee.
  • Get certain public benefits or have household income at or below 185% of Federal Poverty Guidelines.

The program is 100% funded by a surcharge on dog registrations so funds are limited.

Learn more and download the application on their website.

For questions call (802) 241-0589 or email AHS.DCFESDVSNIPADMIN@vermont.gov.
